The Latin Quarter begins where Saint-Germain-des-Prés ends, on the other side of Boulevard Saint-Michel. From Hôtel La Louisiane, a ten-minute walk is enough to plunge into this medieval labyrinth where the Latin of Middle Ages students still echoes.
First stop: Place de la Sorbonne
Going up Boulevard Saint-Michel, you will reach Place de la Sorbonne, dominated by the chapel where Cardinal Richelieu rests. The university founded in 1257 gave its name to the neighborhood.
